Wildlife Wednesday is a social media event that DLC features each Wednesday on our Facebook page to help raise awareness about the importance of the conservation and protection of wildlife habitat in our region of Colorado.
Each Wednesday, DLC encourages the public to share Douglas/Elbert County wildlife photos with DLC by posting them to the wall of our Facebook page. We choose a winning photo every week to be featured over the weekend as DLC’s Facebook cover photo and acknowledge each photographer who shared a photo with DLC.
