Interested in volunteering with DLC in 2024? All current and prospective volunteers MUST attend an orientation to volunteer in 2024.

DLC has undergone many positive changes in 2023, including hiring a new staff member, Kaitlyn Stabell, who is taking over the volunteer program. This added capacity means that DLC can continue to grow its outreach program and protect more land across our region.

We will be offering two in-person orientations in early 2024. Attendance at one is mandatory this year if you want to begin, or continue, volunteering with DLC. Moving forward, attendance will be required every other year to ensure that our wonderful volunteers stay updated with important organizational information.

Please click a link below to sign up for either the January or February session. We have a larger room capacity in February, so if you are available both days, please sign up for February!

January session: Monday, January 29th, 5:30pm-7:30pm @ Philip S. Miller Library Event Hall A. Sign up here.

February session: Tuesday, February 20th, 10am-12pm @ Lone Tree Library Event Hall. Sign up here.

Zoom session: Tuesday, February 27th, 5:30-7:30pm on Zoom. No registration required. Join via this link.

Note: DLC orientation is also an information session. Therefore, your attendance alone is not a commitment to volunteer with DLC. Feel free to come to learn more about the organization, potential volunteer opportunities, and to meet some new friends in your community.

Waivers and other necessary paperwork will be sent out to attendees following each orientation.
