We are so lucky to once again be partnering with 105 West Brewing right here in Castle Rock for the month of August! Any cash tips you leave at the brewery are donated directly to DLC’s mission of protecting land and providing environmental education for all ages.
DLC Staff and Board members will be at 105 on Tuesday, August 12 from 5:00-7:00pm. Come catch up with your community, or introduce yourself for the first time. Either way, we’d love to share a brewsky and a conversation!
Our annual Hops Hike on conserved property will take place on Friday, September 5 from 5:00-7:30pm. We’ll walk around the property picking vines of ripe hops, then bring back to the barn and harvest hops while enjoying some tasty local pizza and beer. 105 will take our bounty and create a special DLC brew that will be on tap at the pub for everyone to enjoy. This is a summer favorite, and we’ll be going out in the evening this year to allow as many interested folks as possible to attend! You can register for the Hops Hike here.
