Join us for an introduction to plants and gather some tips for recognizing and categorizing vascular plants. Many of the local flowering plants will be included. This presentation uses easy-to-recognize features like color and number of petals and is appropriate for all experience levels. Presented by expert native plant master Sharon Sjostrom, you’ll dive into the basics of plant biology, local plant ecology, and what species to look out for on our open spaces or in your own backyard.
