Please join us for our 7th in this series of 8 hikes in 2024 as we notice the changes at Dawson Butte Open Space, and in ourselves, as the seasons change. On October 25th we’ll head out for an early Halloween hike to celebrate the Last Harvest, the midpoint between the fall equinox and the wither solstice. The flowers have all gone to seed, but we should be able to enjoy some fall colors in the trees and may see a few deer or turkeys along the trail. We’ll open with a guided mindfulness exercise, take a moment to ground ourselves through gratitude, and provide time to allow you to notice what’s happening on your own personal journey.

DLC hikes are offered free of charge, but a $10 per person donation is suggested so that we may continue to offer educational outreach events in the community. You can register here.
