Join us this Memorial Day for our annual Bird Count at DuPont Open Space, a rewarding morning of birding, community, and conservation! Last year, participants helped identify nearly 50 bird species in a single morning. The data we collect is shared with the County to help track bird populations and better understand local biodiversity over time, making your morning outing part of something much bigger.

We’ll start early to catch peak bird activity and will be joined by knowledgeable volunteer birders to help spot and identify species along the way. No experience? No problem! This is a welcoming event for beginners and seasoned birders alike. Come enjoy an easy walk, connect with nature, and contribute to meaningful conservation work. Register here beginning May 1.
