DLC is thrilled to share another new arrival, our Stewardship Fellow Tori Ramirez! Originally from Southern California, Tori has moved around working for the National Park Service as a Volunteer Coordinator for Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. There, she found her passion for protecting natural landscapes through collaborative stewardship. She later returned to school to earn her master’s in ecosystem management and conservation at the Yale School of the Environment, where she deepened her understanding of thoughtful and intentional land stewardship practices. She is looking forward to learning and working with DLC staff, landowners, and volunteers to protect lands and uphold conservation values that are integral to healthy ecosystems and communities. In her free time, you can find her backpacking, climbing, running, or knitting funky sweaters.
