VOLUNTEER

The success of many of Douglas Land Conservancy’s activities depends on our wonderful volunteers. However, all work and no play is not DLC’s idea of volunteering! Although DLC benefits greatly from the support of our volunteers, we want to make new friends, learn new things, and have fun. We are also an accredited Service Enterprise organization, signifying that we have the capability and management expertise to strategically engage community members and volunteers to improve the performance of our organization, and accomplish our mission of protecting and conserving land in perpetuity.

We could use your help in 2025…

  • Tabling at Community Events
  • Photography
  • DLC Grant Committee
  • Assist with Events
  • Seek out fundraising and sponsorship opportunities
  • Various Administrative Projects
  • Volunteer Conservation Easement Monitors*

Other possible opportunities, depending on need:

  • Bluebird Project monitors
  • Developing Content for Social Media
  • Hike Guides
  • Hike Assists
